Standing Tall: Supporting Families Escaping Domestic Violence

At Center of Hope, our work in supporting families impacted by domestic violence is deeply personal. This ministry was born out of lived experience — the journey of starting over, standing tall for your children, and leaning on God’s strength to build a new life.

In those moments of crisis, when everything feels uncertain, it is often the prayers, encouragement, and practical support of others that make survival possible. Looking back on my own story, I remember the people who came alongside me — providing not only the essentials I needed to rebuild but also the reminder that I was not alone. Their kindness gave me the stability I needed to become the person God was shaping me to be.

Today, through Center of Hope, we carry that same calling forward. We help families leaving domestic violence situations take their next steps with dignity and hope. Whether it’s a bed for a safe night’s rest, kitchenware to prepare meals, or furniture to make a house feel like home again, each item represents more than just a donation. It is a symbol of a fresh start and a testimony of God’s faithfulness in the midst of hardship.

Every act of support — from a set of dishes to a simple prayer — helps survivors stabilize, rebuild, and step into the future God has planned for them. At Center of Hope, we are honored to walk alongside families as they rise from brokenness to strength, standing tall with their children and discovering the hope of new beginnings.
